It's megaweek at Debenhams this week, so they have up to 20% off this week on most departments, on beauty and cosmetics it's 10%. So, decided to use this opportunity to stock up, and get items I haven't tried out before. Can you believe I've never had a MAC lipstick, well know I have two.
MAC
Left to Right:
Amplified Cream Lipstick-Vegas Volt
Pro Longwear Concealer- NC50
Wonder Woman Satin Lipstick- Spitfire
Mineralize Skinfinish Natural- Dark
-----------------------------------------------
I suffer from sever hyper-pigmentation, through the help of Mac Studio Sculpt I'm able to cover them all up.
Late last year I bought this Clinique product, at first I thought it was working, but then I started to think it was just psychologically. After 3 bottles I stopped using it, because I felt like it wasn't working and it's quite expensive. Clinique used quite a clever strategy, they said that you would start seeing results after 4 weeks, but only put enough to last for 3. So you have to go back and get another bottle, which is £38.50 a month. Money-thieving......
The reason why I decided to buy it again, is because my sister said it was the only product that actually helped me. For her to say that means, it really was working. So, I bought three in one go because of the discount plus staff discount. Then I will just re-stock when mega-day comes around again, which I hope will be in 9 weeks. Doubt it.
I'll let you know how the journey to blemish-less skin goes.
Clinique- Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector
---------------------------------------------------------------
You know one annoying thing about blogging is that my mum knows exactly when I went shopping and what I bought. Sorry Mother.
I never knew debenhams had a "megaweek". Great to know that the clinique is working for you and I hope it continues to xx
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a review on the clinique corrector - I have some mild pigmentation issues but nothing I've tried ever works!! x

The vegas volt and msf natural are both on my mac to buy list. Their lippies are really nice, I've got quite a few and I don't really have any complaints about them....well except for one that I bought online due to hype.
ReplyDeleteI love MAC , the products are so good for all different types of people!

Lol when I opened up your page, I was surprised at how similar you look to me, we have similar eyes, lips, and skin tone. And then I kept reading your blog, and discovered that you're Igbo, (I am too!) which explained it. You are so beautiful!! No homo, but you are honestly one of the naturally prettiest people I've ever seen! Your clothing/outfits are so nice and chic, and suit your body perfectly. I don't know what it is about you London Nigerians, you all seem to look so nice and dress so well, I think I might need to do study abroad there for a year! I'll definitely be checking out your blog from the States ;)
ReplyDeletePlease don't think I'm naturally beautiful, without Mac Studio Sculpt I would look like a monkey.
ReplyDeleteI'm really curious to see what you look like now.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog...x
I would also love to read a review of the Clinique Corrector. It is so hard to find a product that actually works and I am not taking a chance with the random items my Mom keeps bringing back from her trips home lol
ReplyDeletePop round and enter my give-away. I have lots of goodies including make-up I know you will LOVE :)
