The Sporty Trends always comes round every summer, and this year it's come through the runner shorts.
I do like this trend and all the prints I've seen them in, but I'm not quite sure if I brave wearing such short shorts.
Plus my dad will probably chops my legs off if I did.
So, I'm just going to stick with my harem trousers, which still give off a sporty feel and paired them with my oh so lovely neon heels, the colour giving it another sport touch.
I was actually going to save these for my graduation but I couldn't resist :P.
I want more sandals like these, I just think their so chic.
Might see if any of the coveted Zara sandals are still going to be in my local store.

Don't forget to check out my previous post on TstylesU, you can also get a 10% discount with the code I provided in that post. They have a large variety of brands and options so I'm going to have a good look through the website, because I'm still looking for a graduation dress.

A little something pretty featuring TStylesU and Maggie + Me

I was contacted by TStylesU about one of the brands which they stock, Maggie and Me a UK (London) based brand.
The dress I'm wearing here is one from their S/S12 "Colour Me" collection, a range made up of this seasons pastel colours trend and also plays with prints such as polka dots, stripes and leopards.
I adore their "Summer with Me" collection which has a mix of modern, bohemian and edgy pieces.

Want to tell you abit about TstyleU the comparison site as well, because I really like the concept behind it and think that it would be something of interest to you., as they have a wide range of prices so whether your trying to save money or looking to splurge, they will have something for you. They have brands such as Maggie and Me, TFNC and Love Label that are more affordable or if you have a bigger budget you can find brands such Diane von Furstenberg, Helmut Lang and MaxMara.

My favourite part of the website is their Celebrity Lookbook, where they showcase your favourite celebrities for each bodyshape and show you how to style for that specific shape as well as celebrity inspired pieces.
Ok, I'm going to stop rambling and let you head over there.
Oh, before you leave heres a  10% discount of your first purchase and on-top of their daily deals.

Casual/Smart

Blazer: Primark
Vest: H&M
Jeans: Just Female
Heels: Primark

I always seem to go for these type out of outfits when I want to wear something casual yet put together.
A blazer should be a staple in anyone's wardrobe and I have been so obsessed with them over the past months, as they are just an easy way to smarten and dress up a pair of trousers/jeans and a vest.
I used to hate pointy heels and never understood why someone would even wear shoes of that shape, now I can't get enough of them, I think it's Zara's fault they do such beautiful pointy heels and just ads such a chic feel and like you mean business.

I actually start a 2 week internship at the end of July at Start London.
I would like to wear these type of outfits while I'm there, but when I went to my interview they were all dressed quite casual. I don't want them thinking "Who does she think she is, prancing around like she owns the place".
If you get what I mean lol.
Well we'll see.

As I'm not from London I'm quite excited to go and hopefully have the chance to meet up with some of my blogger friends. Here you can have a look at last years bloggers meet.
Now if only Miss Jennifer would reply back to my messages so we can sort something out, maybe she'll see this.

DMU Art + Design Degree Show 2012

Some of you who follow me on Instagram (5inchheels) might have already seen these pictures,
but for those that haven't here are the pictures of my stand at our degree show that started on Friday.
I've mentioned before that I studied to become a Retail Buyer. I based my Final Major Project on Reiss and created a minimalist androgynous Womenswear A/W 2012/13 range.

For any of those interested in studying an Art & Design course at De Montfort should come and check out the Degree show, the Footwear and Fashion Design work is specifically good.
The show ends on Thursday 21st and you can just have a walk around and look at everyones work.
If you have any questions, there should be students and lecturers around.

Back to Black and Grey

Eurgh! at the weather, that's all.
-------
I've started buying items for my graduation outfit, still a month away but thought I'd start early.
I've got my shoes and bag, but the one that is proving hard to find is the dress.
I'm after a white midi length dress with a tailored and fitted silhouette.
So, if you've seen anything like that do let me know.

"Are you going to wear all those colours...

... red, yellow, black and white." (Nigerian accent)
A comment my mother made today, she forgot to mention the pink lips.
The woman does make me laugh.
What do you think, too much colour?
Personally, I love monochromatic prints with a pop or pops of colour.

I'm really enjoying getting into blogging again properly, now that I have the time.
It came to the point where I couldn't even go on my Dashboard, because I felt guilty seeing everyone continually blogging.
Keep coming back, because I'm going to make sure there is something on here every other day.

I have been asked about my hair, this is more of a fashion blog so bare with me on hair and beauty related posts. So, if you have any other questions just put them down below from what what styling tools I use to what foundations I like.
